I bought this part and the problem went away entirely after I installed it because it prevented cold air from escaping through to old warped flapper. That is what was causing the frost. Installation was pretty easy. I'm a handy female and it took me less than 10 mins. I didn't have to do all the steps in the video. Check online for a shorter version.
