This is the second time this has happened so after a little "Internet" research I found it looked to be a common problem with my GE Profile gas range. Instead of having a GE tech come to the house like last time I decided to order the part and try to fix it myself. By the way, GE wanted $89.95 just to come out and troubleshoot the problem, parts and labor additional.
I ordered my igniter and had overnight shipping for just over $100.00. The part arrived the next day and ten minutes later I had a working oven and everyone in the family was happy! I used one tool, a 1/4 inch nut driver. Easy unplugged the old part, plugged in new one.
