My GE dishwasher suddenly died from one day to the next. It is about 6 yrs old and used only 1-2 times per week. I did some research and noticed most people had solved this issue replacing the control board. My dishwasher is hardwired so I first had an electrician check if the breaker was good. Once the electrician confirmed there was no issue with power to the appliance I decided to try to fix it myself. I found the part on other websites, but they were generic. Appliance parts pros had a genuine GE control board. I ordered it and received it within two business days. I installed it following an online video and it is working again! It is not a difficult repair but because I opted not to take out the dishwasher, accessing the bottom part was a little trickier. It took me about 45 minutes. Make sure to unplug it or cut the power before you attempt this!! Good luck
