Alan H Albuquerque , NM March 03, 2016 Appliance: General Electric Gas Range JGP962BEC2BB Ge Cooktop Jgp962bec2bb: Ge cook top burner spark igniters failed due to liquid spillage. How to replace Spark Switch Assembly. Removed cook top gratings, burners and ceramic top. Inspection revealed short circuit of one ceramic block on the spark switch assembly. Removed this assembly and installed new one from AppliancePartsPro. Took this opportunity to clean exposed area of cook top pan, burners and ceramic igniters, then reassembled the cook top.
