Mains voltage OL.
Thermistor was supposed to read 50kOhms +/- 10% but read 35kOhms.
New thermistor had same 35kOhms. By the way, bought the Frigidaire thermistor rather than the GE one - half the price - same component.
Replaced thermistor - but same problem.
Checked control board - found that there were micro-cracks around the joints of the temperature controlling pot. Resoldered. Now dryer works fine.
