First I checked the pressure switch and the little hose attached to it . make sure is was clean. and then checked the switch by blowing the air through the hose it was making clicking sound so it was perfect.. then I checked the lid swith by bypassing it, it was ok as well. then I removed the pump and checked wheather it is working fine ?? in my case the problem was pump sometimes it was working fine and sometimes does not start. before I removed the pump I make it was powered by the the timer (when the timer knob reaches the drain cycle the pump was giving some viberations but didn't get started). after removing the pump I cheked it with a small extension cable it did work the first timr but after that it quit working. at that time I was 99 percent its pump's fault . after that I ordered parts through applincepartspro.com and after putting the new parts (pump) now I am 100 percent sure it was bad pump. my machine got fixed with $51.90 only. at one time I thought to replace it . there is lot of help at youtube as well. thank you and good luck with your repair
