I populated "LID" into search and saw the locking mechanism kit and watched the video provided by appliancepartspros.com.
Best DIY video I've seen in years-- camera work was perfect and the instructions were crystal clear. The expert doing the repair was orderly, methodical and did not look like he was just released from the county or in the witness protection program.
TOO EASY! THE WHOLE REPAIR TOOK 15 MINUTES--yep, hubby has yet another reason to worship.
