Bruce A Indianola , IA December 22, 2014 2 gears had been stripped in a kitchenaid mixer Had to take out 9 screws to get access to the gears. Removed the worn gears and the old grease. Installed the new gears and new grease. The whole procedure took about 1 1/2 hours once I had the parts. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours
