The latch literally took 15 seconds to replace. There's an inner lining to the microwave door that pops out easily. The thing that breaks is the little tab on the latching mechanism that holds the spring. All you have to do is pull the old latch out, attach the new one to the spring, and then snap the door lining back in to place. Super easy to fix, but annoying how it's not better engineered.
