Watched a video on checking the coil and thermostats. I already had an analog continuity tester and used it to find the bad part. I ordered it from the website. It arrived a couple days later. Easy to replace. Total cost around $30. So much better than $1000 for a new one. About an hour’s work including cleaning out 10 years of lint!
