Larry V Avon Park , FL May 10, 2022 Appliance: Model SDE305DAYW-MAYTAG DRYER The heater coil shorted on my Maytag dryer. I looked up info video on Youtube and then the owners manual. I opened the dryer up and took a picture of the coil and replaced it. The total time to replace the coil is about 30 minutes. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
