We installed a new heating element. The tough part was removing and reseating the long screw holding the element in place because the dryer siteis such close quarters that the top panel couldn't go completely vertical. Everything else was easy. We had already replaced the thermal fuse the previous week, so the one that came with the new heating element has been stowed away as a spare.
