I removed the two Phillips screws that attaches the element mounting plate at the rear of the oven. This plate holds the element in place and is integral to the element. I then removed the two electrical leads attached to the element. I then installed the leads onto the new element, reattached the retainer plate/ element to complete the removal and reinstallatio
