There were some pieces of calcium developing in the ice, so I removed the ice bucket, emptied the ice and found that it had a large crack in the back. Don't know how that could've happened. The top cover had also broken. I have used Appliance Parts Pros before to replace the ice maker about 3 years ago for the same Samsung refrigerator. While searching for my specific model, I found the ice bucket was discontinued by Samsung for my model. I then did a little cross referencing using the parts diagram and found that the same ice bucket was used for several models of the Samsung indoor ice makers. I ordered the ice bucket for a similar model, hoping it would work and "voila" it fit. Very easy to replace. I also repaired my Maytag dryer about 2 weeks ago with parts from Appliance Parts Pros after finding a video on how to repair it myself. I will be using Appliance Parts Pros again in the future. The videos make it very easy and affordable to do the repairs yourself!!
