From watching your informative video, we were able to discern the issue. We ordered the replacement part and installed it without too much hassle. We did locate in the comments others who have seen the opposing end drill thru the surface, and ours had done the same thing which makes removing the cover to access the auger a real chore. We were able to shove the end back in and pry the top cover open. Your site was excellent help for us and the part arrived super fast - even over the Holidays! So glad we found the video!
