I determined that the freezer fan was not turning, so I ordered the fan and the temperature sensor because I had been having the problem with the ice maker for months. I talked to customer service before ordering and they did not think I had a problem with the sensor, but for a little over $10.00, I decided to replace it anyway. Long story short, with the new fan and sensor, the freezer no longer ices up and the ice maker works perfectly. I think the old fan was working somewhat or sometimes but did not push enough air for the unit to work properly.
