Initially suspected chute door as culprit. Possibly not closing properly which allows warm air to enter freezer compartment. Ordered and replaced chute door but problem persists.
Inspected auger motor and found ice in motor casing which would not allow auger to rotate. Removed motor and allowed it to unthaw for several hours at room temp. Reinstalled motor and ice dispenser works beautifully.
