Replaced with Whirlpool Ice Maker Kit and now it's working [just like when my new chicken laid her first few eggs!] I Didn't know when or if... but it did within 10 minutes! Happily, this kit is complete with water hose and new electric water valve so you have all new components along with a second ice tray. All one needs is a 1/4" hex screw driver. Be sure to check the lower compressor fan and the freezer defrost fan are working.
Unfortunately, inline water filters will NOT filter HARD Water!
