The ice maker would make ice but wouldn't dump the tray. So it functioned normally but wouldn't flex the tray and ice stayed in tray.

I replaced the ice maker unit altogether. Removed the shelf in the door, the ice bucket, pullout basket all with the frozen contents together. The hardest part was turning the 2 screws. Had the new ice maker installed and made ice in about 30 minutes. I
