Replace the entire ice maker unit. It was easy to follow instructions. Instructions wanted me to change out the cup, and ice ejector plate, however I left the new ones in and it works even better than ever. Lots of ice now for hot days to enjoy cold drinks. Ice cubes are a little bit different shape, a little smaller, but no big deal.
