Using the supplied appliance manual, I checked all of the water fittings and found a crack in the supply line to the ice maker. Ordered and replaced the supply line and ice maker supply fitting. I did not resolve the issue. I started diagnosing the control module. Had several on-line chats with APP support line. One agent sent me copies of the appliance, tech sheet and also the Appliance Service Manual. These were quite valuable to the diagnostic process. From the manual instructions, using a multi-meter and jumper I was able to diagnose the issue to the control module. The repair part arrived in three days. It was relatively easy to install, except my older appliance had annoying upper brackets to secure the ice maker to the wall of the appliance. This was the most time-consuming part of the replacement - getting the tabs on the ice maker inside those brackets to secure it to the freezer wall.
A lovely sight later when fresh ice dropped into the bucket!
Great technical support help from the on-line chat team!
