The ice maker on the refrigerator began to decrease production concurrently with the freezer gradually becoming warmer. I inspected the evaporator and condenser fans and they both worked fine. I cleaned a large amount of dust and debris off the evaporator assembly and it fixed the cooling issues. However, the ice production didn't return. After following the simple directions on removing the ice maker on Appliance Part Pros, I disassembled the ice maker assembly and determined the motor was worn out. I ordered a new assembly from Appliance Part Pros and replaced it and the ice making was back to normal operation.
