I ordered a new one. I watched the video plus instructions came with the new icemaker. This was the easiest item to take out and input the new one. I was very pleased. Plus it was cheaper than getting a repair man. I checked parts prices added everything up, It would cost more and I still would really have an old icemaker with 1 new part. Some of the parts cost more than a new icemaker. This made me proud of my self. Go for it and have fun you to can do it.
