The washer base plate was replaced by a reputable repair service. the bolt that was included was3/4" too long. The repair service re-ordered and sent the parts to me directly. The replacement they sent was also to long, in fact it was the wrong bolt all together. I looked up the model and part on the AppliancePartsPro.com website, found the correct bolt,ordered it on a Monday and had it the next day. (A local supplier told me it would take2-3 weeks to get the part).
I installed the new bolt replaced the cover cap and all is well again with the washer.
