Did research to determine what might cause problem. Determined that it was either the infinity switch or the triple haliant burner. Watched several YouTube videos on testing the infinity switch, but none exactly replicated this switch. Chatted with AppliancePartsPros.com on a Saturday on how to test, but later determined I needed more information, so I posted a question on the APP page for the triple burner. Received a quick response from APP which isolated the problem as the burner, not the switch. Ordered the part one day and received it the next day with only Standard shipping, but I only live about 30 miles from APP. The part came very well packaged and was in perfect condition. Watched YouTube video for instruction on how to install. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2ftrvCuaVU&t=294s. When raising the glasstop to expose the burner, there is only about 6 inches of space. It is difficult to get appropriate lighting to see well and the small space makes it difficult to release the spring clips to release the burner from the top, as well as, removing and reattaching the blade terminal connectors. The most difficult part was reattaching the 3 spring clips while holding the burner up to the underneath side of the glasstop. They kept pivoting in the way of the burner. Finally used some small strips of Gorilla tape to hold them out of the way and then pulled them off one at a time once the burner was in place. Once reconnected and reattached, burner worked fine except center ring not as bright as other two. Reading GE article this seems to be OK. See https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18447.
At this point, triple burner seems to be working fine.
