I replaced the connector block assembly and wiring harness.
If I had just snipped off the wires and spliced them to the new connector block assembly using wire nuts as shown in your on line video it wouldnt have fixed the problem as the wires were damaged further down the harness where they were rubbing on sheet model on the back of the range.
The directions enclosed with the new part even stated DO NOT SPLICE - REPLACE THE ENTIRE WIRING HARNESS Therefore I think your video needs to be changed to reflect the proper procedure.
