Did some research via the internet and figured the problem was likely the moisture control board. Watched a video of the repair of a similar unit in order to locate the moisture control board. Used the chat feature with one of the Appliance Parts Pros to get a schematic of the dryer and advice about where to use the putty knife to release the springs for access to the board. Thanks to the lady I chatted with for expert advice. Once the actual task was started, the repair took 15 or 20 minutes. Two weeks later, the dryer is working like new on the moisture cycle.
I was encouraged to try the repair myself because Appliance Parts Pros will accept return of the part if the problem is not solved for 365 days, and the offer of technical support if needed.
