I first removed the back panel of the refrigerator. I have an electronics background so luckily I have a digital multimeter. I unplugged the relay and capacitor from the condenser unit. I did a check for continuity on the condenser and it all checked out fine. This led me to believe that my overload relay / start kit may be faulty. I replaced both the overload relay and the capacitor even though my old capacitor was still good. I just wanted everything to be new. The refrigerator now works even better than it did before the issue.
