Marc T Reno , NV August 20, 2016 Kenmore microwave ran when door was opened I figured from online searching one or more switches were bad. I had no way to test and for the price figured it would best to just replace all three. Hardest parts were defeating the security Torx screws with a post in the middle of the hole, and getting the old switches out. They're mounted on a plastic post with little clips and you really have to twist/pull in a tight area with limited room for tools to grab. Finally got them out, new ones were a little easier to get into position, and it works great now! 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
