We took that sucker apart and made it work! Thanks to YouTube and all the vast knowledge of the pros out there, and just about any tool one would need in our shed, my husband and I made a date out of it, and we took apart our Kitchenaid to figure out why it wasn't mixing correctly, and making an odd sound. Come to find out the gear shapes were worn down, and therefore not working. It was a gooey mess due to the grease, but quite the adventure cleaning and working together with my husband to get the parts replaced. Now I am ready to rock and roll with my holiday cooking. Thanks for saving me LOADS of money, it would had been $175 or more to take the Kitchenaid to the repairman, and they would still have to wait for the parts.
