Ordered thermostat regular shipping, it arrived within 72 hours, i had the cooler repaired and wife happy within 12 hours of arrival. repair itself took about 90 minutes, most of that 90 minutes was removing and then replacing a whole lot of screws to get the back panel off the cooler.
the hardest part of the whole endeavor was getting the cooler in and out out of the very tight location it normally sits in. suggest looking at video on u tube before doing this - it is easy (even fun) to repair. this is the second thermostat i have replaced now, the mini fridge downstairs had the same problem about 2 years ago. the only "trick" to all this, is make sure the hole that the thermostat sensor wire goes through in the insulation is big enough for the sensor. if you get any resistance when passing the sensor, get just drill out the hole to make it easier, it is mostly styrofoam, not a big deal. a big wrench makes turning the leveling feet under the cooler much easier than by hand. (i used a plumbing type wrench).
