Being a combo washer dryer made it a challenge, but the bolt holding on the agitator was a problem, the nut part was rusted of so much that a socket grabbed nothing. Not ready to purchase a new washer dryer, seeing no other way, I destroyed the agitator to get to the bolt, the bolt came out with some effort. Everything after that was as stated. A note, you do need to clean and make sure the shaft is smooth and lubed so the seal spring holds the seal to the tub. In all not a big job, bolt took half the total time, aprox 2 hrs. Total cost $179.00 My first time on a combo unit, could cut the repair time in half next time! 14 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours
