Purchased the part, took off the back cover behind the stove, 5 screws. removed knob removed 2 screws holding the old defective part, pulled off 1 wire at a time and plugged into the new part. then just reassembled. Easy fix. The overlay was easy also. 4 screws to remove the display. Separating the old overlay took a little patience, then the new one I just lined it up slowly and pressed it onto the original sticky surface. Probably took 1 hour at most. TURN OFF BREAKER BEFORE YOU START!
