After a quick internet search, I determined that the drum roller/s were at fault. I found this web site and watched the very informative video on replacing the rollers. While the rollers can be found cheaper elsewhere, I decided to purchase parts from Appliance Pros because they were original LG parts.
Installation was straight forward, however in the video it shows the disconnection of the door lamp stating "just pull it out", when in fact there is a locking tab. Other than this minor issue, the video and the parts were great.
