Stephen C Cape Coral , FL March 18, 2015 Appliance: Model LG LMV1813ST Lg microwave oven did a loud pop and quit working Called AppliancePartsPros because of good experiencing diagnosing problem with a dishwasher repair. We definitely are modest income amateurs! Same excellent response to our questions. Three possible causes. Used easy search menu to fine replacement parts. Bought all three, knowing that if all not needed, the others could be returned (within 365 days) for refund. Replaced the capacitor successfully after calling to get more help with a couple of places where we got stuck. Oven now works perfectly. Returned the magnethon which was not needed and received prompt response that the full refund was on its way. Given what i learned the cost would be for local service charges for diagnosis, cost of parts, and installation I figure I saved at least $125, probably more. My cost for capacitor & 2-day shipping, about $40. You are my Go-To-Guys, for sure. What a great company. Nothing like it to my knowledge. 54 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours
