My first step was to find the model number of my dryer. Second I found AppliancePartsPros on a web search. I did the "on-line" chat. Very helpful! On a Friday night I ordered two replacement bulbs. On Tuesday the bulbs were delivered. The first thing I did was to UN PLUG the dryer. I had a flashlight the replacement bulb and a part of a "Raw potato" Yes a raw potato! I used the raw potato to un screw the metal base out of the socket. The new bulb just went right in with no problems. I plugged the dryer back in and done.
