This was not a major repair. We have had this GE dryer for 12 years or so. The light bulb that illuminates the drum finally burned out. I tried Home Depot, Lowes, Sears and Local Ace Hardware. No one had a direct replacement. I did some surfing and found this site. I ordered the bulb (I actually ordered two). The bulb is located just above the door (from the owner's manual). It was a quick unscrew the old and screw in the new.
Delivery was quick and I laud the site for delivering the bulb well packaged in a sturdy box with plenty of padding.
