Girly girl here! I did have my husbands help to take the dryer apart and assess the inside. After that I was on my own. My dryer is 15 yrs old so I replaced the 4 wheels, belt and the pulley unit due to age and already being inside the dryer. One wheel and pulley were tight to turn manually. We removed the the top and front panel and lifted out the drum. It involved unscrewing 5 bolts (if that's what they are called) putting the new parts on and re-screwing. I did need an extra hand to hold the drum while I attached the belt on the pulley. Once I put the front face and top on, I was good to go. It is running like new.
