I found a video on how to fix it. And I ordered the replacement burner. I have never tried anything like this before but I just retired and could not afford a professional..
I surprised myself after I replaced the burner. When I turned it on it actually worked. It was just a matter of unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one. Just make sure you take a photo of what it looks like before you unplug anything. So you have something to go by just in case you forget what goes where.
