Replaced the gasket instead of trying to clean old one and when i took the old one off there is an area with heavy mold you can't get to any other way. This was actually the 2nd gasket I installed. The first one bought from another retailer was folded into such a small bag the front against the door wouldn't lay flat to seal. Appliance parts pros item is stiffer and thicker material. It is shipped in a box with packing in the center so it won't bend. A little more expensive but totally worth the extra money and if I had a problem I could call a pro for help. Gives you the confidence you need to take on new repairs. I will always buy from them in the future. Note: Make sure you buy the Washer Spring Removal Tool it's so worth it.
