I had to re wire one of the elements 3 wires leading to the element, which I did and then could replace the element. Now it works better than expected. I heat raw milk every morning for cereal but with the old element it always seemed to burn the pan bottom because it took such a long time to heat up. Not anymore. I replaced two small elements.
