We ordered a new element from AppliancePartsPros.com. Received it in a short time. Pull your oven out enough to unplug it from the wall. Remove the cover on the back. Unplug the wires from the element. Partially open oven door lift door straight up put aside. Remove the lower rack. Remove the mounting screws and element. Reverse procedure to install. Do not pull hard on the door. Not all doors lift-off, mine does. Make GE.
