My LG oven wasn't heating properly. After checking the manual and doing some internet searches, I determined that the problem was either with the igniter or with the thermistor. I checked the igniter first using a multimeter. It measured the correct resistance. I checked the thermistor after having to take off the back panel--the hardest part of the fix--which took undoing a dozen screws. The thermistor was shot. I ordered a new thermistor from Appliance Parts Pros. It arrived in less than two days. Replacing the part took five minutes and a screwdriver. Easy stuff. The videos on appliancepartspros.com gave me the confidence to take on this easy fix. I surely saved $150 doing this myself.
