Robert M Clarksville , OH July 13, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer GHW9300PW2 Whirlpool Washer Ghw9300pw2: Person leaned on open front load washer door & broke hinge & messed up latch when trying to shut the door. How to replace Door Strike. Bought a new latch & replaced without a problem. Also bought a new hinge for the door. Instructions were good on how to change it out. Ran into problem trying to remove fasteners corroded with several years of soap & softener spilled down on it. Had to drill & cut out fasteners which made the job frustrating.
