Dawn V Ellicott City , MD March 23, 2022 Appliance: General Electric Refrigerator GSHF3KGZBCWW Ge Refrigerator Gshf3kgzbcww: A power surge from snow storm blew the main PCB. How to replace Interface Dispenser Assembly. Good ole Maryland with its 70 degree weather one day and a snow storm the next! 55 mph winds do not have any sympathy with above-ground transformers in a snows storm. The transformer blew - partially... then kept popping causing multiple surges to our homes AND electronics. Power was restored several hours later, however my fridge was not working. After I checked it out, I could see the burnt parts on the PCB board itself. I grabbed the part number and ordered the replacement PCB. When it arrived, I installed it and the fridge was up and running! Whew! Ordering a new one would take 6-8 weeks because of manufacturing labor issues. THANK GOD I was able to to get this fixed! 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
