I order this Pump & Motor Assembly for our Kenmore (Whirpool made) dishwasher that's about 10 yrs. old. I shut off the power and hot water to the washer, disconnected the drain tube and water supply line from under the washer.. Then slid it out to work on.
I did have to go back and watch the video to see how to get all 3 retaining clips for the motor unit back in place. I was originally try to put them in place with the wash tipped on it's top. However, that didn't allow the motor assembly to seat properly. I followed the videos instructions to have the washer upright, wipe the mounting flange/motor unit rubber seal with damp cloth to seat properly. Then carefully turned the washer on it's back before installing the retaining clips. The other parts re-installation on the motor were straight forward. Reattached the water supply, drain hose and the washer runs, sounds great again! Thank you you help getting me the right part and clear video!
