Do-It-Yourself Story

I had checked the Kitchenaid site and the racks didn't come in kits. You had to buy every little part and it was going to cost as much as a new machine. I decided to check around the web to see if anything else was available and I was fortunate enough to find AppliancePartsPros. These racks came in just a few days and after viewing their excellent installation videos, during the shipping time, my installation was a breeze. No assembly was required for the top rack and all I had to do on the bottom rack was snap the rollers and a couple of tine-rows in place. The whole project took me probably 20 minutes and no tools were required. Almost too easy! :) It seemed a shame to have to buy a whole new dishwasher because of the racks and now we won't have to.
