After researching my model refrigerator it seemed most problems came from the control board. I took off the panel and found a browned spot near one of the soldered connections. When the new control board came I read the directions. I photographed the old one hooked up, drew a diagram and numbered the white connections. The connections were a little tough to take apart, a flat blade screwdriver helped. I was instructed to cut one original wire that connected into the 9 pin. I was very happy when it was back in place and plugged in, WORKING! I figure this saved me two trips by a repairman and any inflated part cost. I never have changed a control board before, I am a grandmother. Knowing I could return the part for refund if it didn't work was great. I don't usually leave reviews.
