I have an Amana Model No. ABC203DES. I was unable to ascertain which part(s) would fix my issue so I jumped on the Chat feature. I was then emailed a diagnostic test sheet that allowed me to go through the temperature controls to run the diagnostics and discover the issue. The diagnostic sheet indicated that at the minimum I needed a defrost thermostat kit and potentially a defrost heater. Since the components were in the same area of access within the freezer, I decided it was worthwhile to replace both components at the same time. Problem solved.
