Ordered and replaced whole icemaker unit. New Unit shipped same day as promised and was slightly more than half the price of other sites. What I didn't expect was that I would receive the new part less than 24 hours after I ordered it using the standard shipping option ($6.95). Great experience. Would definitely order again.
Repair was straightforward. Just remove screws and bolts to take old ice-maker unit apart, disconnect wiring harnesses, pull out old unit, then put it all back together with the new unit. Needed wire-ties to replace the ones I had to cut off the old unit though. I had them, but some people might not.
